2003 Testing, Llandow

Monday 14th April, and Llandow was to be the venue for the first test of the new Cozens Racing Alfa 33. I took an early start to pick up the Scott Racing & Imagika Sports Alfa 156 from Newbury for its first shakedown of the year. Sadly, last minute delays meant that the Cozens Racing car would have to wait an extra day for its first run, and it instead went to Castle Coombe for a photoshoot for a local paper. Meanwhile I gave the 156 a run at Llandow to check it out for its first race in a weeks time. Apart from shredding a tyre (its very heavy on its tyres through the corners), it ran well and looks well set for a good first race of the year.
